No-Heat Diagnostics
Failed igniters, dirty flame sensors, bad gas valves, tripped limit switches — we read the fault codes instead of guessing at parts.
FURNACE REPAIR — SEATTLE, WA
No heat in the middle of a wet Seattle winter? We diagnose the actual failure, quote the repair before we touch a wrench, and get your furnace running right — not just running.
Failed igniters, dirty flame sensors, bad gas valves, tripped limit switches — we read the fault codes instead of guessing at parts.
Craftsman bungalows and 1920s homes often run undersized ducts or converted systems. We check static pressure and airflow, not just the furnace itself.
If your furnace is 15–20+ years old or the heat exchanger is cracked, we'll price both the repair and a high-efficiency replacement so you can choose.
Annual service that cleans the burners, tests every safety, and helps protect your manufacturer warranty through the heating season.
Lennox, Carrier, Trane, Goodman, Rheem, Bryant, Daikin and more — gas or electric, high-efficiency or standard.
You get the price before the work starts. No surprise line items and no parts you didn't need.
Seattle's heating season is long, damp, and mild — which sounds easy on a furnace but actually isn't. Systems here run for months at low load, cycling constantly instead of running in long efficient stretches. That short cycling is hard on igniters, flame sensors, and blower motors, and it's why so many no-heat calls land in December and January.
Humidity plays a part too. Moist air and coastal conditions accelerate corrosion on burners, heat exchangers, and flue components, especially on furnaces installed in unconditioned crawl spaces and basements — which describes a huge share of Seattle housing stock.
The other common culprit is airflow. Many Seattle homes have been remodeled around ductwork that was sized for a much smaller original system. When a furnace can't move enough air, it overheats and shuts itself off on the limit switch. Replacing the part without fixing the airflow just buys you a few weeks.
That's the difference in how we work: we measure, we explain what we found in plain language, and we quote the fix that actually solves it.
